- Kerry & I have been married almost thirteen years, and together we have six children and eight grandchildren. Kerry, a retired preacher, is a stock broker for Raymond James. Diane, formerly a career church ministry assistant, stays busy keeping grandkids and working part-time as the Student Ministry Assistant at our church. In 2005 we went with Buck Smith to Puerto Ayacucho, Venezuela on a Vision and Prayer Walk. The Lord used that trip to give us a passion for the people of Venezuela. We have become a part of many ministries and families there. From that came a vision to have a city-wide crusade in Puerta Ayacucho during Holy Week in 2006. Almost 1500 new believers in Christ were born that week! In 2008 we had an Evangelism Campaign in the capital city of Caracas, home to 6 million people, and we saw over 5000 come to know Christ within 10 days! Praise the Lord! In August, 2010, we will travel to Merida as part of a partnership effort between the Baptist General Convention of Texas and the Venezuelan Baptist Convention. We are praying for 10,000 souls to be saved and 100 new churches to be started!
